Over the last week some cadets and staff from 162 attended the 75th Anniversary Wing Skills Week. The camp was at Holcombe Moor; organised by Greater Manchester Wing. The cadets and staff had a great time doing a long, long list of activities. The cadets were split into bronze, silver and gold categories depending on experience.
There were multiple activities for each category throughout the action packed week. From No’ 8, L98A2 and clay target shooting to obstacle courses, drill, arms drill, mountain biking, kayaking, fieldcraft exercises, climbing and newly introduced STEM challenge.
The cadets of 162 thoroughly enjoyed their time at Holcombe Moor with a special mention to Best Cadet on Camp – Cadet Ezara Petrie and newly promoted Cadet Warrant Officer Daisy Hill. It was an excellent performance and camp all round.
Have a look at the pictures from some of the activities! The cadets of 162 would like to pass on their thanks on what has already been named possibly the best camp ever!
